Even so, the main claim of the City are the beaches. From north to south, its coastal strip begins at the popular fine sand beach of La Mata;. Between Cabo Cervera and the tip of Salaret, you will find a series of small rocky coves: El Mojón and Las Zorras.
But the most popular ones have always been playa de Los Locos and playa Del Cura, both of fine sand.
Apart from this, the places of bigger interest to visit are: La Torre del Moro, La Torre de la Mata, the mentioned "salinas" of Torrevieja, the Natural Park of Las Lagunas de la Mata and Torrevieja, the Church of La Inmaculada Concepción, the Sacred Heart Church of Jesus; and the museums Maestro Ricardo Lafuente and of the Sea and of the Salt. Finally we could visit the Eras de las Sal Campus, the Casino and the Nautical Club.
