One of the Costa Blanca's favourite tourist attractions is the beautiful town of Jávea. With a great history and an enormous tourist quality, this town in Alicante fuses the past with the present. Situated between the cape of La Nao and the cape of San Antonio, its coastline offers spectacular scenery.
The old town, with its narrow, stony streets, contrasts with the coastal area with its coves and viewpoints overlooking the Mediterranean.
It has such emblematic places to visit as:
- Old Town
With a great architectural heritage, the streets are adorned with stone lintels.
- The Archaeological Museum
Located in the centre of the town, with information about the town's past.
- The harbour
This is one of the most touristy areas, where you will find all the services you need to spend one or more days in the town. Bars, restaurants, hotels, leisure, sports?
- El Arenal beach
Next to the most important tourist parador of the area "Costa Blanca".
- Granadella Cove
It is a beach surrounded by mountains, which give it a private and magical atmosphere. Chosen on numerous occasions as the best in the country.
- White Cove
It is also called "La caleta" because of its small size, formed by 2 other even smaller coves, but no less beautiful for that.
- Montgó Natural Park
We are talking about a massif formed by rock and limestone with a height of more than 750m. It has been considered a natural park for more than 30 years. It has a flora with more than 600 different kinds of flowers and plants. It is a place that can be explored along its various paths and trails.
