El Campello will reforest the area of Els Poblets with 400 specimens on the occasion of the Day of the Arbor. "If tomorrow the world ended, I would still plant a tree today." These words of the Nobel Peace Prize winner Martin Luther King, have been chosen by the Department of Environment, led by Julio Oca (Cs), to encourage all the campelleros to participate next Sunday March 1, in the planting of 400 trees in the street Orihuela, Els Poblets area, and thus commemorate the Day of the Arbor.
The environmental day will take place between 9.30 am and 2 pm and all attendees can plant one of the 400 copies of which the council has been provided. "100 pine trees, 100 rosemary trees and 200 cypresses of Cartagena need all of you," said the mayor of Environment, thus encouraging participation in the day.
