El Campello will be launching its beach lifeguard service tomorrow in preparation for Easter. The new team of lifeguards, made up of a total of 42 professionals, will come to ensure the safety of visitors to the beaches of El Campello. This Saturday 27th March sees the start of the low season service.
The improvements proposed by the council, which will be carried out by the aforementioned company, mean an extra 64 hours of service in the low season and 46.5 hours in the high season, during which 140 full and extra days will be worked in the lifeguard service and in the accessible areas. In addition, a jet ski and a 4x4 quad.
Seasons
Thus, El Campello starts the official beach season 2021. During the so-called "low season" (covered by 21 professionals), the lifeguard and lifeguard service will be available from tomorrow until the 5th of April and on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th of October, from 11am to 6pm. 00h to 18.00h; on 1,2,15,16,22,23,29 and 30 May, from 11.30h to 18.30h; from 1 to 14 June and from 16 to 30 September, from 11.00h to 18.30h on the beaches Muchavista, Carrerlamar, L'Almadrava, l'Amerador and Cala Lanuza.
The service in high season will include the Morro Blanc cove and the timetable will be divided into three different periods: from 15 June to 6 July, between 11am and 7.30pm; from 7 July to 21 August, from 10.30am to 8pm and finally, from 22 August to 15 September, between 11am and 7.30pm.
