Known as "The Social Club" of Calp, this building is located on the coast of the city, by the sea, in a state of ruin. In spite of this, the building has become another attraction for the tourists who visit the place.
It was built in the 70s, next to a residential area with houses, restaurants, bars and so on, and it is the only building of all of them that is not used. However, it has become an emblematic place from where you can get a beautiful picture of the "Peñon de Ifach". This Christmas it has been visited by tourists from all over the world.
While the tourists continue to come, the City Council is rushing to execute a budget of 1.2 million euros in order to revitalize the area. If it does not undertake the work now, it will lose the concession granted by the Directorate General of Coasts
